okay I took apart a soft DDR pad and it has this black plastic material that i’m guessing connects all the buttons to the pcb , but i tried to run a connect a copper wire to two of them to see if i could turn it into a usb controller instead of a PS2 controller using a keyboard,
but i was wondering how i could get a connection from this plastic type stuff to a wire
please help

You need to stop playing electronics tech before you burn out the usb hardware in your pc! I would explain it to you but you wouldnt understand what I said to begin with.
EDIT: I got 35 years as a programmer, debugger, and electronics technician that says you DONT know what you are doing or you WOULNT have asked the question!

Something like this may be a little more eloquent. http://www.google.com/search?q=ps2+contr…
The first result is from Amazon which lets you connect two ps2 controllers with just one USB port.
You cannot just rip apart some electronics and stick a USB connector on the end and expect it to work.
