I recently had a fault with my plasma tv, where i got vertical lines every 2 cm along the screen and then a few days later it refused to turn on. The LCD still lights red (standby mode) but refuses to come on.
I did notice 2 1000uf 160V Capacitors had bulged at the top, so these have been replaced. Before i replaced these i did a few tests, i unplugged other boards that are attached to the power board one by one. I managed to get the tv to come on once i disconected the pcb controller board?
I have a feeling it may have a protection circuit that was on this board? hence it came on after i took it off, the tv went off as soon as i re-attached it.
Any help much appreciated, i cant find a any help anywhere on the internet about this model.
Thanks
