I’m heard a hot glue gun/super glue can’t solve the problem as it may melt during usage.

you can’t glue a wire to a PC connection, as the glue acts as an insulator!

I’ve heard that rumor too. That’s why I stick to soldering.
But I’ve also heard that impulse welding can be used in some cases. And ultrasonic welding also is used.
