    It is true and Asif is likely to learn about the fate of his career next week when PCB will announce a final decision.

    tainted Asif faces stiff penalties,PCB has ‘Damning Evidence’ against Asif on doping charges.
    The report sent to PCB by the DUBAI authorities clearly states that the player was carrying the drug,though it was in very small quantity,
    A fact-finding committee has informed PCB chairman Nasim Ashraf there is enough evidence to punish the dope tainted player and sent the report.
    Currently Nasim Ashraf on a vacation to united states and next week when he is back home a decision will be taken.
    According to the sources,the bord could ban Asif for a year besides imposing a hefty fine.

    Probably a 2 year ban and a hefty fine. However that will be all overturned on appeal, the money handed back and no ban in lieu of time served - as per the usual extremely tough stance on drugs by the PCB.
    In other words he will be whipped with a very large feather!

    A fact-finding committee probing Asif’s case in DUBAI has enough evidence to punish asif.
    PCB could ban Asif for a year and also levy heavy financial penalties.

    Though Asif has been tested positive in smple A, he has asked for testing of sample B, which is not yet done. Action on Asif will depend upon the result of sample B.
