Can I Use A Flourescent Lamp In A Photosensitive Pcb?


hope you guys can help i exposed the pcb in a 25w flourescent light along with the artwork then covered by a glass on top then after 20 minutes i dropped it in the developer solution..at first the artwork appeared then all the art dissapears along the other exposed photo resist…hope you guys can help me

    One question, are you using a positive or negative acting resist ?
    If the resist is one that is removed where exposed to light, then you are either over exposing or your artwork is not opaque enough.
    If the resist is one that is removed in areas that are not exposed, then you have underexposed, and as the first answer said, a UV lamp would be better. I have had success using sunlight, but getting proper exposure with the sun takes luck, a sutible lamp is better.
